Help me give my students materials to master the curriculum in reading, art, and social studies. These items (floor seats, lapboard erasers, paper and crayons) will allow my class to learn using hands on practices that will nurture their curiosity and engage their interest.

My Students
I teach a group of twenty enthusiastic, energetic Kindergartners, who are from a diverse mix of cultures. Many of these children are English Language Learners. Their families have immigrated from around the world and they count on the education their child gets in my classroom to help set them on the path toward a bright future, full of opportunity.
These kids are genuinely happy to come to school and everyone of them has the potential to learn and succeed.
If the learning environment is equipped with the right tools to keep them engaged, there is no limit to what they can achieve.
My Project
The items on my list will infuse sparkle and joy into my curriculum to keep my young learners engaged in their education.
The chairs and magnetic shelves will transform a small area of my room from a bland spot to a cozy reading nook.
The dry erasers and magnetic letters are just the tools to make our literacy center a spot to return to again and again.
The people colored art materials will help children make projects for social science that represent who they are and where their families have come from. By having projects at school that reflect all cultures, they can see education is about and for people just like themselves.
