Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students are very special and they go through so much before they even make it to school. I teach in a Title I School in a district with a unique range of learners. My class includes scholars that are extremely below grade level. Many of my students come from low income households and live with minimal necessities. They have so many struggles in life and can’t afford to buy anything, I do not want their learning to be hindered by a lack of supplies. They have great potential, but we need help with materials. For many of my students, school is their safe zone and their only chance at a better life, so anything you can do to help me provide them with a quality education will be greatly appreciated.
Students in my 2nd grade class are eager to learn in our classroom community.
We are extremely focused on creating a culture of care by having a Morning Meeting each day where students learn to problem-solve, celebrate themselves and others.
My students are highly inquisitive, energetic learners with a zest for life.
My Project
I would like to give my students the ability to show their classwork in a presentable manner. I want my students to believe that their work is valued.
Students will be using the printer to create projects of different subjects, like language, Science, math, and others.
They would be able to type their own stories and share them to other students so they can collaborate in their learning process. These materials will help students who may not have available access to a working printer/copier, and other supplies for creating projects and working classroom centers for learning.
