Help me give my students puzzles and other manipulatives to help them learn to problem solve, develop their fine motor skills, and design creative structures.
Welcome to the Teddy Bear Classroom, the place for eighteen “beary” cute kids and two teachers who love them "beary" much! Together we form a school family that works together to grow and develop through play, the way children learn best.
Although it looks like we're just playing, the children are engaging in learning activities that are enjoyable and memorable.
Through participation in these activities and the support of quality teacher talk, the children develop their ability to get along with others, learn cognitive and language strategies and acquire the building blocks for a strong foundation for school success. Most importantly, in our classroom, there's a lot of giggles coming from the little Teddy Bears as they develop a love of learning through play.
My Project
Puzzles and other manipulatives are an essential tool for learning in the Pre-k classroom. The “Puzzle Library” and “Manipulatives” will help my students to achieve many goals while getting them actively engaged in learning through experiences.
By donating puzzles and manipulatives to my classroom, you will help my students to develop problem solving skills, fine motor development, hand-eye coordination, self-esteem, social skills and cognitive development.
At the same time, they develop a sense of achievement and pride within themselves while preparing them for some very important life skills. As you can see puzzles and manipulatives are educational toys that challenge young minds while preparing them with some important life skills.
