I have been teaching for 13 1/2 years and truly LOVE what I do. During that time, I have witnessed drastic changes in education and have continued to adapt and improve my skills to better serve each and every student. I have taught grade levels Kindergarten through fifth grade. One of the things that I love most about our school is that we serve a diverse community. Our students come from various backgrounds and are all given the opportunity to grow.
My Project
The whisper phones will help with reading. Students will be able to hear themselves read without bothering their neighbors. The dry erase circles will give the students a lot of hands-on practice during class time. The headphone storage will help keep us organized.
With young students it is so important for them to be able to move and wiggle.
The chair bands will help my students stay focused while being able to move at their seat. All of these items will benefit each student in my classroom this year and hopefully for years to come.
