My Project

I currently teach several students with IEPs from Grades K-5. While students have various disabilities, many of the students are on the Autism Spectrum. These tools will help me to add organization to my classroom (the bookshelf), to print out the materials I need in the room (the printer), and to keep my space clean (the vacuum). This is a Language and Literacy project in that many of the books and materials purchased will be used to teach my students how to read. It is necessary to have a variety of books around diversity and inclusion, including books about autism. One of the primary things I am teaching my students is social skills - the games and social skills books will be used during "lunch bunch," which is the time I work with my students on developing friendships and building relationships. Contributions to this project will provide a tremendous difference in supporting students in the Inclusion Program at M. Elementary!!! Thank you for your generosity!
