In my classroom, my energetic seventh graders are learning about the birth of the United States. They analyze primary and secondary sources, find evidence to support their ideas, and improve their writing. In our classroom we learn not only content, but how to prepare for future careers. My students practice writing, collaboration, and critical thinking.
My students love to work together to solve problems!
They enjoy group-work that gives them a task and they have to work through it to find an answer.
My Project
As we returned to the classroom, we realized a lot of our supplies had dried out in the year and a half we've been gone. We were able to use up our remaining supplies and now these new supplies will help us replenish and continue with creative assignments like coloring pages and interactive notebooks.
Our supplies have been limited since the pandemic and we want to help students finish the school year strong!
The coloring supplies allow us to complete coloring pages, projects on paper, and sketch notes. The highlighters allow us to better annotate when we read. The pens and pencils will be available to students in class when they forget their writing utensils.
