My students are imaginative and curious! They love to dig into problems and design innovative, interesting solutions. They enjoy building, drawing, and designing their ideas. My students work together collaboratively to build real world skills and make their learning come to life. We are in a low-income neighborhood, so it's even more important to ensure my students have access to the same information and materials their peers in other areas have!
My Project
Flexible seating makes a classroom more fun! With these fun, safe and easy-to-use stools, students can turn in any direction, whether to hear teacher directions, sit close to a partner, or go off and work with a group on an experiment. They’re light-weight, so students can pick them up and go off to work anywhere in the classroom, making the list of our whole classroom space. The stools are colorful and fun, which will draw students’ interest. They adjust to any height, so even the youngest students can use them. Students can take in more information and focus better when they’re allowed to be physically active. These stools allow kids to wobble and wiggle, but they’re safety features mean they won’t fall down! The chargers will allow us to charge our robots and computers in any location around the classroom.
