Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Our students are young eager learners! They love to explore and learn through hands on activities. Our kindergarten students enjoy center based learning where they can complete tasks / activities independently and then time to work with their friends!
Our little ones are each unique in their own way and all learn differently!
Each one of our kindergarten students bring knowledge, ideas and opinions to the tables! It is our job to support them in their educational growth, providing them with multiple opportunities to explore and learn as best we can, especially now during remote learning!
My Project
As my Kindergartners enter their first year of elementary school, I want to give them the tools they need to succeed. During on-site and remote learning, students will need individual supplies to engage in learning. This includes writing utensils, folders, pencil cases and erasers. Since our school is a Title 1 school, most students do not have the resources to purchase supplies for in-school and at-home learning.
With these school supplies, students will be able to engage in hands-on learning and develop successful writing skills.
Please help my students have an amazing first year of school, whether it be at home or in school!
