Help me give my students ear buds and stylus tools to use while at school, and an extension cord to charge their devices while staying distanced from others.
My students are natural leaders who are still honing in on their skills and discovering their confidence. With their focus on academics during a global pandemic, they are becoming leaders who will remind the world what unique learners can do when given the space and freedom to just go get it done! Many of them come from homes where their leadership is depended on, as their parents are gone a lot -- making a living with the hopes that their scholars will reach greater success than themselves in this highly competitive and often unfair world. Despite their documented disabilities, my students have the grit and perseverance needed to reach their goals whether learning remotely, in person, or in a hybrid format.
My Project
This project will help equip students with the tools they need to focus and remain intent on reaching their goals.
My students will be able to eliminate distractions and unnecessary environmental noise while learning at school, at home, and in alternative locations with the help of earbuds.
The colorful ear buds will further help with ensuring safe and sanitary distribution for use.
The stylus pens will really help my students who struggle with physical control when using their finger or the keyboard mouse on their district-provided touch screen devices. The extension cord power strip will allow my students to charge their devices while in my classroom while remaining socially distanced from each other.
