I would like to have a set of toolbooks for ancient history to explore ancient civilizations with my children. I teach sixth grade and have used toolbooks before in other grades. These toolbooks provide immeasurable hands-on learning. The students can play the gong game, they can stage a mock trial, they can rap and rock to historical situations, they can role play, and play "survivor" with historical events. The toolbooks provide wonderful resources for the student-centered learning in the ancient history curriculum.
