Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Against all odds my students show up to school happy and eager to learn each and every day. I have anywhere between 22-24 students who love being with their teachers and classmates. My students want to feel successful and proud, and it is my responsibility to ensure they have the tools they need to reach these objectives. The worst feeling a teacher can have is not being able to execute a fantastic lesson due to lack of materials. My students deserve better and with your help their dreams are possible.

My Project

These books will provide my students with books on their current reading levels. It is essential for children to have an abundance of books that they can successfully read with confidence. When beginning readers struggle because the only books available to them are too difficult and not on their independent level they get turned off to reading.

Every child wants to be able to read and enjoy a book without struggling, these books will provide that type of library for them.

Some books are for instructional learning and some are simply to enjoy, this library will provide both for my first graders.
