The 28 multicultural children who I spend most of my day with are extremely hardworking and come to school each day to do their absolute best. Although our classroom has the bare minimum in terms of supplies and equipment, my students make the best out of so little. It makes me feel extremely privileged to be their teacher. The children have also formed a bond with each other that goes beyond the walls of the classroom. They are very helpful to each other and the first ones to finish an assignment are also the first ones to want to help their classmates.
My students are also a very giving group.
Although most of their families do not have funds to spare, the children recently emptied their own piggy banks to help raise money for little boys and girls with cancer.
My Project
This project is very important because my students will have an opportunity to print their writing assignments and they will be displayed in the hallway for everyone who passes by our room to read! We already have a beautiful printer given to us by a wonderful donor who funds many of my projects.
Unfortunately, at this time, we are out of toner.
In the past, the children were able to print their final copies of their writing just like a professional writer would do. Without toner, we can no longer do that. Funding this project would make sure a difference because my students absolutely love to see their writing printed out and displayed in the hallway! Please help to fund this project!
