Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

My students come from all over the city of New Orleans. We are an open enrollment school from different socioeconomic backgrounds. Most of my students are on the free lunch program. My parents are the backbone of my classroom they volunteer throughout the year and are very supportive of my classroom. My students are very motivated and enthusiastic about learning. Your help will make my class function so very effectively. My students and I will be so grateful to you for your kindness.

My Project

This toner will continue to enhance the print-rich classroom that I strive to create. My classroom portfolios that each child makes throughout the year really showcases all their individual work! Every student's portfolio is treated with love and care, and they are thankful for the opportunities to create.

All of the work that the students spend putting in their time, energy, and creativity will be carefully printed.

It will then be placed into a beautifully decorated binder of their choice to showcase all of their wonderful works of art. My students truly enjoy this project and look forward to bring home something that they have created on their own.
