My students put a smile on my face every day. They are respectful, responsible, and take care of all of the books in our classroom library. My students are indeed one of a kind! Many of my students ask to borrow my books. I love seeing their passion for reading.
In this class, we are a team.
We pledge to include everyone and stick up for one another.
The best way to increase reading ability is to read more, and these books will continue to help my students grow stronger in reading. My students already have shown an astonishing interest in independent reading, and this project will only help enrich their experiences with the printed word.
My Project
My students LOVE to read! Each student can take home up to 10 books a night from my classroom library. Some ask to take more than 10! Education is changing every day, and so are the interests of my students. As a first-year teacher, I have been trying my very best to purchase and collect as many books as I can for my students. We are half-way through the year, and I have students who have read all of my books!
By donating to our project, you will not only fill the hearts of my students, but you will help to achieve academic achievement.
Students who have books to read begin to read more and more. Students do not always have access to books at home, so I want them to be able to read as much as they can in school. Not only do my students like to read, but they like to reflect on what they have read. A table in our reading center will encourage them to write more and reflect on what they have read.
