Help me give my students additional fiction/nonfiction books to read while at school!
This project expired on February 2, 2019.
Hooray! This project is fully funded
My 22 kindergarten students are so sweet and helpful! They are all on different levels. Some of the students are learning letters, while some are learning to read and others are reading levels above where they should be at this point. Many of them do not have a lot of books at home, so they are super excited about books in the classroom. They light up when being read to or getting to read books in our classroom library. They love hands-on activities and experiences.
You can help my 22 amazing kindergarteners today; they love sending personalized thank you cards to anyone who helps our class!
Reading leads to success! I hope to have a print-rich classroom and these leveled readers will help build that environment.
These books will help my students have a variety of books on their level to choose from when reading independently or being read to on the carpet.
My students love to be read to and to read. The students enjoy going to the classroom library to pick a book of interest and read to themselves. They know how books should be treated and take pride in taking care of our classroom books and library. These little leveled readers and guided reading collection books will be the perfect addition to our classroom library and our reading groups. Because fiction and nonfiction books are included, I know the students will all the able to find books that they love! The students will be so grateful to have new books to read!
