My Students

They say the only way to do great work is to love what you do. And I, not only love what I do, I love the children who are part of that work. My students each have different dreams and different needs. We love to dance at 'wiggle breaks', sing songs as we work on math, read while we eat lunch and grow our brains so we can go to college!

As I start a new journey, I need books for my first graders to help them learn and grow.

As reading is a fundamental skill, I want to make sure I have a library stocked with books of all ranges and lengths.

My Project

I've been in education for 8 years and every year, my students work hard everyday. With good teaching, comes good books, and my classroom needs books that keep students on track and engaged! Books are needed for a classroom to function and for imaginations to build. They create a world where kids can learn, grow and have fun!

By providing my students with books, it will open up a world of imagination and curiosity!

I want to make sure that my students get the chance to engage in stories that not only teach them new things but make them love reading.
