Today a Reader, Tomorrow a Leader!
My students need a horseshoe teaching table to read at during our small, guided reading groups.
I am fortunate to teach a group of caring, curious, and enthusiastic first graders every day. As a team, we work hard to create an environment that is warm and fun, and where everyone is able to learn.
My first graders are a group of children who encourage, motivate, and celebrate one another every step of the way.
It is my goal to inspire my students to be problem solvers and life long learners, have a love of reading, be accepting, respectful, and kind.
Learning to read is a huge milestone that my first graders come in begging to learn. They love to listen to rich, engaging children's literature, and long to one day read these books themselves. Their excitement for good books is contagious!
A horseshoe teaching table will enable my students to dive into great books at their reading level, while I am able to work closely with each student to guide their learning and promote their reading achievements.
The design of this table allows for more effective reading assessment and instruction, maximizing student progress. In order to help my students become life-long learners with a love for reading, I would love to create a more accessible reading environment. Thanks!
