I have been out of the classroom for 10 years. Coming back to teach 5th graders at an arts magnet school has been exciting. However, all of the art projects and lessons I've created, I've had to fund myself.
My classroom is full of students who love to learn and are grateful for learning experiences.
They are inquisitive, cooperative, and LOVE to move around the room throughout the day. Learning by creating, acting, doing are important to them. My students are eager to start creating. They make coming to school a joy. Thank you for your support!
My Project
Creating characters in 3D with clay and then make the setting will help students to see the elements of their story. These lessons motivate 5th graders to create and use their imagination.
I've led the TV announcement team in other schools, and a green screen is key to taking students to places all around the world.
The ideas for a green screen are endless. Students can act out their favorite stories and paragraphs that they have written. We are living in a digital world and students need to practice and understand digital literacy.
Clipboards will allow students to move around the room while working.
