Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

My students truly have a thirst for knowledge. They enjoy new lessons and love making connections with previous material they have learned. While everyday may not be a perfect day, they really strive to make sure that all of their efforts at school count towards their end goals of being the best that they can be. My favorite moments with my students is when we have to stop working and they complain because they want more time to continue! They sure know how to fill a teachers heart!

My Project

Why "To Infinity and Beyond"?! Well, that is because my students have the energy that it takes to reach the stars! With all this energy, it is sometimes difficult for them to sit still in their regular student desks, especially because we are a self contained classroom where they learn all of their subjects.

Please help me in providing some flexibility in their seating so that we can keep that high energy in their studies!

I have purchased some additional alternatives to begin to provide this in my classroom, but these seats would be the finishing touch. I know that my students would be ever so grateful!
