Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
I am inspired every day by my students. My students come from diverse backgrounds. They are always excited to learn and improve. My students are enthusiastic, energetic, and curious about the world around them. Their enthusiasm inspires me to create challenging and thought-provoking lessons. They always want more. I am a gifted/ESOL teacher in a public school in a suburb of Atlanta. I teach Math and Science in small groups. I presently serve about 50 students in two classes. My students are always up for a challenge. They thrive on challenging materials, probing questions, and interesting lessons. They amaze me every day with their "out of the box" thinking.

Our class would come to life if we had Fire tablets.
These tablets would open the world to my students. After working with these wonderful students, I knew I needed to bring these resources into my classroom and share with my kids. The list of resources that would be available to them is endless. I want to introduce my classroom to the opportunities tablets would extend in their learning of Math and Science. These tablets would bring learning to life for my students. Think of all the possibilities my students would have if we had a small group that opened the world of technology to them. Students are only limited by their imagination and lack of tablets!
