This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
Our Pre-K students are full of joy and life. They excitedly bound into the classroom each day, ready to hug their friends and teachers, telling us all about their adventures! Our Pre-K campus has 489 students that are all receiving free lunch, most of them are coming from a typically lower income.
I love to plan rich and meaningful lessons and learning experiences that are developmentally appropiate, to help them develop into strong and capable learners.
I would like to provide a classroom with a great learning environment that is happy and safe, so when they walk into our room they are ready to learn and have fun working together!
My Project
" To infinity and beyond..." is what I want my Pre-K students to experience when it comes to learning! They need computer software and learning center activities to help them develop skills in the areas of vocabulary , following directions, recognizing letters,numbers, and understanding science.
My students are entering school for the first time and this will be the year in which they can get excited about learning and develop a love of school as they use the interactive Promethean Board games and Learning Center activities to build upon their knowledge while having FUN learning!
