This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
"I would give the shirt off my back" is how some people would describe me as a teacher. Now, I have lent out all my supplies to colleagues and students, and I am in need.
My students attend a Title 1 school.
They are excited to come to school and use new materials during our science class. They enjoy hands-on lessons and having the lesson directly connect to the real world. Their curiosity makes science a fun subject to teach.
My Project
My students will use the dry erase markers and eraser to solve problems and demonstrate their understanding to classmates on the whiteboard. My students will use the Post-it notes in a variety of ways, ranging from highlighting their understanding of a standard to writing down questions or thoughts they have. My students will use the Eggspert Quiz Game to add some excitement to reviewing for assessments. The color copy paper will allow students to create foldables and graphic organizers on bright paper to highlight importance. The pencils will be used when students are in need.
This project provides basic classroom needs to each and every student.
These basic supplies will help make sure our classroom runs smoothly and efficiently. Also the project will provided innovative and exciting ways to engage students in learning.
