My Students
What I love about my students is that they have some learning challenges, and physical impairments, but they are all eager to learn. I love and appreciate my students because their abilities for adaptive and positive behavior that enables them to deal effectively with the demands and challenges of everyday life. The students are taught to understand and care about other people needs, and feelings also how to help and encourage positive behaviors towards other people in need of care and assistance.
My Project
Teacher/student interaction is the most important aspect of a high quality learning environment, great teachers help children learn by observing how children use materials and then talking to the students about what they are doing to extend the learning experience. I work alongside the students to ensure that materials are used in healthy and safe ways while also making the learning experience fun and educational. This prioritized list includes basic furnishings needed in the learning center as well as accessories that will expand and extend children's interest and discovery to help create learning environments that support all educational needs. A moon table will enable the instructor to have close proximity with students, supporting small group instruction and collaboration. This piece of furniture will also assist in developing and enhancing better social behavior amongst our students. They will be able to share and interact with one another under the immediate supervision of the instructor, guaranteeing healthy and safe use of materials while making the learning experience engaging and fun.
