Hello! Our school is a public TK-5th Grade school. My 4-year-old TK students thrive with opportunities for hands-on experiential learning, including choice time with role playing and engineering activities. I strive to make the classroom a cozy place that they love to be. We put an emphasis on social-emotional learning alongside traditional academic learning in order to create a balanced approach to a their first school experience. Please help us create a delightful, nurturing learning environment for these little ones. Thank you!
My Project
This is my fourth year teaching Transitional Kindergarten. When I started, I inherited a well-loved little play table and play rug. The rug was falling apart so much I had to throw it away this summer and the play table is looking quite a bit worse for wear.
These items are used every day in TK.
The children love playing house, or play dough, or puppets at the table and love all manner of constructing and vehicle play on the rug. It would be so nice to have a nice new play rug and table for the children this year.
