I teach 6th grade Language Arts at a school in a rural area in Louisiana. I am writing this proposal for a simple, basic request. I would like to have some basic supplies that aren't given to us and I rely on myself to buy them or the kids bring the supplies when I ask. We need paper towels, kleenex tissues (they go through lots of tissues during the winter season especially), bandaids (it's the cure-all even for 6th grades who have "scratches"), baby wipes (that saves lots of "trips" to the restrooms to wash marker, ink, etc. off their hands) and scotch tape, too. These seem like little things but over the course of a year, it all adds up. We would certainly use all these items and appreciate them. Thank you for your generosity and your consideration of this proposal.
