My Students
My students are from a low-income, rural community. More than half of our students from low-income families. These families have little to no money to provide students with basic supplies needed for school. Along with our dwindling school budgets, it is very hard to provide the students with additional items during the cold season. Boxes of tissues are needed during this cold season to be kept in the classrooms. The tissues will help students who have runny noses through the cold season.
My Project
I am asking for boxes of tissues for our school's classrooms. As we enter into this years cold season, it is very difficult with dwindling school budgets to be able to provide basic necessities, such as boxes of tissues. Not only are we currently in a cold season, but we also live in a very cold area and stuffy noses are common throughout the winter season. It is important that students have access to these basic necessities in the classroom. We ask for these items so that we can make these boxes of tissues available in our classrooms for any student to have access to them if needed.
