Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

The first graders at W.H. Academy are passionate, excited, and ready to go every day. My classroom is a place for them to feel safe and explore their learning.

With your help, they will have a comfortable classroom to thrive in every day!

It is proven that flexible seating improves student focus and productivity.

Some schools are able to provide flexible seating with their budget or PTA. My scholars deserve the same opportunities and will be so thankful for your generous donation.

My Project

"Ms. Tough can I sit somewhere else?" I hear this question every day. First graders love to move, fidget, and squirm. It's part of why we love them.

Their energy is contagious, and they need seating that matches their spirit.

With this flexible seating, my vivacious students will be comfortable and more productive than ever.

We all need a break from our chair, our desk, or our desk mate. With the option to sit on a cushion, on the carpet with a pillow, or on a wobble seat, my first-grade scholars will get the flexibility they need.
