Kindergartners are inquisitive and engaged learners. They love to learn! My kindergartners are eager to explore the world around them. They are also 21st Century Learners. Having access to high-quality, hands-on STEAM materials and appropriate furniture that provides an interactive learning environment is essential.
My students are enthusiastic, curious, and engaged.
They are hands-on learners. Some of my students speak another language at home and several qualify for special education modifications.
Our school is a new school that is still building its curriculum and materials. We are a STEAM school, meaning we explore various scientific concepts through hands-on, integrated projects. My Kindergartners are fully immersed in a scientific concept and topic throughout the school day. An important part of their learning is through hands-on explorations and direct small group instruction. Having the space to do our work is vital. New tables with plenty of room for everyone will ensure we all have the best learning environment.
My Project
In our classroom we learn in many different ways! Independently, with a partner, in a small group, and as a whole class! I work hard to differentiate the learning so every student gets exactly the instruction that he or she needs. In our classroom we need just right learning spaces. We currently have a few tables that are too small and make working on just right learning challenging.
A brand new table will provide us with the space we need to succeed as learners!
This table will allow my students to have plenty of room to spread out and learn. We can use manipulatives, art supplies, and extra large paper and have plenty of room to explore and learn!
Having the right furniture and environment is vital to student success.
