"Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind." - Dr. Seuss
"Every student can learn, just not on the same day, or the same way" - George Evans
My students are an exciting group of PreK 3 & 4 year old with special needs at a Title I school. Title 1 means that the school population has more than 50% of the students are from low income homes.
The photo is of three of my students trying out the materials we are requesting that we had temporarily borrowed from the library. A photo is worth a thousand words, and they loved the OSMO coding program. This project is for 3 iPads along with the protective cases for each and a 2-year apple-care package.
It also would purchase the OSMO base, the genius kit (Five games that transform your iPad into a hands-on learning tool) the creative kit (an interactive art tool for creativity) , the pizza co game (teaching recognizing emotions/ facial expressions) and Coding jam.
Coding Jam teaches the basics of computer coding by 'telling' the character how to move.
The iPads would also be used by adding communication apps to the devices to allow students to learn how to use such devices to help develop language skills.
