My classroom is an inclusion classroom. It has typical students and students with disabilities. They are lovable, energetic, hilarious six and seven year olds who make me love my job every single day. They need hands on activities to be engaged with their learning!
My students learn to read, write, think and problem solve with every activity that they do.
We also work on social thinking and self-regulation to help develop relationships. First grade is a year of amazing growth!
My students are fascinated by electricity, batteries, and hands on activities. These resources will help my students explore change, cause and effect, and electricity in a developmentally appropriate way.
Students will use the Snap Circuits to build creations that come to life with electricity.
They will work in teams to design, create and test circuits that use light and sound to engage students. They will learn about trial and error, grit and determination, along with science. They will learn about working as a team to accomplish a goal. The book will help students brainstorm about projects they can create within the classroom.
