I teach 3-5 Communication Behavioral classroom that includes 10 wonderfully bright and inspiring students. Many of our students push out into the general education setting with the support of a staff member and receive small group instruction for areas of need (such as academics, social-emotional skills, etc.) for most of the day. As of this year, almost all of my students are participating in specials (PE, Music, Library) with their general education classes.
Communication Behavioral: a classroom supports students who have language delays which create behaviors that make it difficult for them to be successful in a general education classroom without supports.

My Project
It is that time of year; the weather is changing, the students are learning all new things and we are running low on some materials in the class.
In a busy classroom like ours, it is often hard to keep up with stocking and restocking important supplies such as scissors and glue.
With your donations, we will be buying much-needed whiteboards to replace our fading old ones. We will also be getting some new scissors to support our students who have grown out of the training scissors we currently have. In a special class like ours, we always need more Velcro to create essential manipulatives for not only in our room but around the school.
