Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students are from neighboring cities. We are the only school in the district that offers a dual immersion program and are an International Baccalaureate candidate school. This program gives children from all cultures, areas, and various incomes an opportunity to learn and thrive within the district. My students are lifelong learners who enter the classroom ready to learn, collaborate, leading to international-mindedness and biliteracy.
My Project
As you know we use many supplies each and every day. We need constant replenishment of glue sticks, dry erase markers, crayons, hand sanitizer. Buying a few here and there sure does add up! With your support, my students will have replenished basic necessities needed to complete their work assignments each and every day.
I create anchor charts almost every day and my markers are also drying up.
The Mr. Sketch markers will help me write and draw colorful and vibrant charts. The sanitizer has become a daily necessity as well. We have gone through 2 big bottles already! This will also be a huge help in maintaining healthy littles.
