My Students
First grade is an amazing grade. Students come to school with a wide range of skills. Some students have formal education from kindergarten and some do not. They all have energy and excitement and want to learn. My students are ELL (English Language Learners). They come from diverse backgrounds of families that speak multiple languages.
My goal is to make my classroom a welcoming space where my students feel at home.
Learning is a passion I want to share with my students. When I learn I like to go to a favorite spot. I want My students to be able to find a favorite spot and learn.
My students are in the beginning of their school career. They are learning how to work cooperatively and need the tools and the environment to become successful 21 century students.
My Project
My students need materials to motivate them to do their best. They come to school and look forward to interesting and engaging activities that spark their mins.
They need materials that draw them in and inspire their learning.
Bright paper makes their work so exciting. When they see their work in their favorite color they feel excited and want to continue to learn. Stem activities are so very important for today's learners to grow and succeed in today's ever changing world. Lastly, literacy activities that go beyond paper and pencil but still allow students to practice essential skills are critical.
