My Students

My students are very energetic, loving and caring! They are truly thoughtful and care about each other. My students face many challenges in their daily lives, however they don't allow outside factors to effect their learning. They just keep striving to work towards a bright future by learning as much as they are able to.

Learning is very important to my students and they have the drive to keep improving their academics.

They are like little sponges that do not stop soaking up knowledge. They take great pride in their own education. It is so amazing to watch my students enjoy learning and wanting more!

My Project

My students need personal timers. Giving my students a variety of timers to choose from will help make practice more interesting. My students will use these to time themselves on multiplication and division fact fluency. They will also time themselves on their reading fluency and phonics. The students will also have the option to time themselves on a reading passage or have a partner help them. Another option they will have is to practice timing how fast they can sort their words that they are working on within their phonics lesson.

Making learning enjoyable is very important and these timers will help to put a different twist on the assessment.

These timers will help bring excitement to learning within our classroom.
