My students are excited about learning! They love new opportunities and the chance to experience new things. They are very respectful students who come to school every day excited about what they will learn. They learn best when incorporating manipulative for hands-on learning experiences.
My school is in a low-income area, where over 70% of students receive free or reduced-price lunch.
Many students do not have access to computers at home. I love presenting them with opportunities to use technology and learn new things because they truly enjoy every minute of it. Their smiles and motivation to be the best they can be is my inspiration and my reason for teaching.
My Project
My students love using the Kindle Fire tablets we received. They post their work on Seesaw and practice important skills. They are constantly needing to be charged because we use them so much. Unfortunately we only have the space to charge two at a time currently. This means many of the tablets can't be used while they are waiting to be charged.
We want to be able to use our tablets on a daily basis.
These charging stations will allow us to charge all of our tablets on a regular basis without taking up more space or outlets in the classroom. We would stay more organized and have more access to our devices. This would be a huge support in our classroom.
