I have a classroom full of 3, 4, and 5, year-old students. There are three languages spoken in my classroom. Most of my students live at or below the poverty level since 90% of students have to be to meet program standards. I do have students with special needs in my classroom. They come to my class to learn. I create a loving, safe, creative, and hands-on classroom. The children get to experience so many things in my classroom they wouldn't in their home life without our program.
My Project
These books are all professional development books for myself and my teaching assistant. They might also be something we could share with parents.
These new books will help me become a better teacher and understand my student on the Autism spectrum.
I will be able to provide a much better learning environment for him as well as other children who might have sensory disorders.
I can read them, share, and implement what I have learned to make my classroom an amazing place for all students to learn and grow. No matter what their needs may be.
