Time for the American Revolution! Let's Bring Learning to Life!
Help me give my students the basics they need to make our learning come to life! We want to make life-sized projects of our American Revolution historical figures and we need supplies, poster boards, markers and pencils to make that happen!
The students in our classroom engage in new learning opportunities with enthusiasm and gusto. Opportunities that allow them to see the world beyond the city are few and far between.
More than 80% of our student population has difficulty securing basic living needs including food and housing.
For many students, school is the highlight of their day, knowing that is where breakfast and lunch are provided. The majority are English Language Learners, whose parents are first generation immigrants.
Our classroom is an exciting learning environment where we come together from diverse backgrounds to collaborate with each other as we engage in hands-on active inquiry and digital learning experiences.
Our classroom has become an integral part of their success in helping them feel secure, included and encouraged. The sense of community that we have built allows each child the opportunity to explore their beliefs and ideas in a safe environment.
Thank you for taking the time to consider our classroom project!
My Project
At this point in the year, we could certainly use a refill of some of our most used classroom supplies. Our pencils have seen better days, and the colored pencils have been sharpened down to the bottom. We have fabulous projects planned for the upcoming semester, but we need some help gathering basic supplies!
We are going to bring the American Revolution to life, making full-sized replicas of key historical figures!
We need poster board, glue sticks, flair pens, and colored pencils to make our projects stand out! While we are creating our masterpieces, we will be studying the history of our country.
