This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
Spring is here and we are budding and buzzing around! It's our time to blossom and grow with a sprinkle of rain and plenty of sunshine!
Our math classes are filled this spring with a diverse group of students from low socioeconomic backgrounds that are eager to learn and grow!
We work using centers on our rigorous math curriculum. We use our Math Centers daily and dive deep into our mathematical world through rich real life experiences that are hands-on helping us grow!
My Project
Time for Kids is a great way for my students to cover Social Studies through current events. It covers both past and present events around the world. It will give them a clear view as well as insight on political, social, historical accounts that have shaped the world around us.
Time for Kids will help my students learn about world events that will shape their future.
We will utilize online in the classroom. We can also use it in a print magazine format to review and complete the graphic organizers and comprehension activities that reinforce the activities on a weekly basis.
