My Project

Students will have access to material that is engaging, relevant, and high-interest informational text. They will work in small groups to close read text across multiple subject areas. Aside from collaborating in small groups students would be able to access the text individually as well through digital content which supports alternate reading levels.

Aside from the reading, students would be able to respond to text in written format as well.

This will give students a variety of writing and discussion points to engage their minds and enhance their skills. Students are more engaged in writing when they have the content knowledge they need to support their thought process.

Also the comprehension questions that the teachers guide provides would also allow for an easy formative assessment to ensure that students comprehension skills are where they need to be.
