My students need to work on their reading comprehension skills, while being involved and active in the world around them. Time for Kids inspires students to get involved in their communities, while working on comprehension.
My students come to school each day with a smile. For most of my students school is the only place where they feel safe, it may be the only place where they get their meals for the day, and the place where they receive the most love and support.
Each child in my classroom absolutely loves learning, although the method and environment in which they learn best vary greatly.
We incorporate a variety of learning strategies, group work, and alternative seating and learning options to ensure that each student's needs are met, right where they are! They are truly an incredible group, and I am so lucky and thankful to have a new group of learners that are excited and ready to learn each year!
My students need Time for Kids to work on comprehension skills while learning about the world around them. Time For Kids allows them to do both. Students read true, inspirational stories about kids their age.
Time For Kids articles inspire kids to become advocates, step up as a leader, and make a difference in their community.
Time for Kids gets students excited to read and interested in the current events happening around them. Students are always excited to take the articles home and share what they have learned with their parents and siblings. It helps to provide extra reading material for home, for those kids how lack the funds to purchase books and other reading materials.
