TIME For Kids to Strengthen Their Literacy Skills!
Help me give my students TIME for Kids. This is an engaging, high interest publication that helps to strengthen their literacy skills.
This project expired on December 10, 2019.
Hooray! This project is fully funded
Each and every one of my students is unique. They are growing and learning in a small, tight-knit, school community, similar to the community that inspired me to be a teacher. My kids are dreamers, thinkers, talkers, and questioners. They are mini inspirations to themselves and others around them, even if they don't know it yet. They are budding ambassadors, world travelers, scientists, entrepreneurs, and teachers. They are our future, and I want to give them a great start to their long, successful career.
My students need exposure to the world around them, the world in which they live, the world they will someday run. TIME for Kids is an amazing magazine that can enrich each student's outlook on their life and the world.
By donating to our project, you will not only help to improve and increase student literary skills & introduce them to current events, you will ultimately help to increase their academic achievement.
This is a weekly classroom news magazine that motivates kids to read. Issues cover a wide range of real-world topics using nonfiction text and themes kids love to learn about, while building non-fiction literacy skills and helping students better understand their world.
By engaging all of my students, it will help them to take ownership of their learning and begin to build background knowledge in various subjects.
