I teach in a fourth grade CTT classroom. We have a mixed group of general education and special education students in our class.

Magazines are a great way of hooking reluctant readers and helping kids keep up on current events, which is so important in our world today! In our changing world and busy schedules there is little time for current events, which is so important to our students learning.

We would like to integrate Time for Kids Magazine into our classroom as a way to teach literacy through current events. With Time for kids we will be able to do shared readings, hold class discussions and create new and interesting lessons that will help prepare our students not only for their fourth grade examinations but for their future education careers!
