Time For Kids, Teach The Times.

My students need 22 copies of the Time for Kids weekly magazine. It allows me to keep my students informed on the happenings of the world, many of whom would not ever be exposed to world news at home.

My classroom is full of economically diverse, eager to learn students. I teach general education to second grade students. The area that we live in is very diverse in economics. I have students from both ends of the spectrum making it a challenge to provide materials that other schools have access to. At the same time my students are so very eager to learn. They read the newspapers that I bring in and are always asking for more.

With the election going on this year my students have been asking questions. They are curious about the entire process. We have been campaigning for class president as well as discussing the ways past presidents have ran their campaigns.

By having the Time for Kids magazine in our class the children will be able to follow the election and get answers to their questions on their levels.

Your help will ensure that my students have this wonderful engaging tool at their fingertips. Empowering a brighter and more informed tomorrow for them.
