We are the Peanut and Jelly classroom! We are Kindergarten students who stick together to learn and grow.
We grow our brains!
Our learning stations rotate throughout our school day allowing children to continuously work as a team and build relationships with peers on a variety of ability levels. We celebrate problem-solving and peacemakers. We encourage our children to practice being good citizens who care about one other whether we are in our classroom, walking in the hallways, or playing on the playground.
We want our children to continue to develop skills for success to work independently as well as in a group. We want our young learners to have strong communication skills and be able to express themselves creatively. We want our children to explore how things are created and how they operate. We want our students to understand that their ideas are important and respected. Our classroom is an inviting place to build dreams.
A subscription to Time for Kids will make a big difference in the learning of my little Kindergarten students and our Social Studies curriculum. Each child can touch their own "magazine" while learning to read about our world. A subscription to Time for Kids will spark interest in reading with its bright photographs and text!
A subscription to Time for Kids will help build up our background knowledge about headlines that effect our little learners.
