My students have an avid interest in learning about current and past events. They enjoy writing and disseminating information from digital and online texts. My students are hard workers and will be well- prepared for middle school. The Time For Kids digital materials for which I am asking will enable students to continue refining their online learning while learning virtually during virtual instruction that has been part of the Covid 19 pandemic. They will truly appreciate your gracious support.
My Project
My students enjoy learning about current and past events/ issues and how they connect. Most of my students come from underserved communities . With the digital materials I am requesting, my students will become more successful in utilizing online resources. These materials will be utilized on a daily basis even after the Covid 19 pandemic ends. Other benefits will include improved writing skills/ abilities, and increased test scores.
This project will allow them to become more informed citizens.
This year, my students have learned about the Election and why it is important to vote. This was a timely unit due to America's current political climate. They have also been learning about Astronomy and the Universe. Science instruction is STEAM related and will enable my students to appreciated the world around them. The Timing For Kids online digital resources will be an integral part of enhancing my online virtual instruction.
