This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

Our school is nestled in the heart of Minneapolis. We are a Montessori focused school, that is every evolving with the pandemic and George Floyd incidence.

Each child in my classroom absolutely loves learning, although the method and environment in which they learn best vary greatly.

We incorporate a variety of learning strategies, group work, and learning options to ensure that each student's needs are met, right where they are! With them being at home, they are in need of materials to assist with their learning. They are truly an incredible group, and I am so lucky and thankful to have a new group of learners that are excited and ready to learn each year!

My Project

TIME magazines will have kids get exciting about to read and information just for kids that explains the world around them.

They will read them, color them, and use them as books to learn from at home during Distance Learning.

TIME for Kids is uniquely positioned to teach kids to recognize and value authentic and trustworthy journalism. Time magazine provides:
