My Students
My students are in the top of their class and I would love to help support them to be successful!
My students live in the southeast suburbs of Portland, going to the largest high school in Oregon, where the majority of the population receives free or reduced priced lunch.
DDHS is home to one of the most diverse communities in the city.
Despite the challenges they face outside of school, my students work very hard to be successful in school.
My Project
With the new year beginning and a new semester upon us, my students need a few more staples to continue the year successfully.
We use glue sticks every day and our supplies are gone.
Also, I would like to use the large countdown clock to help students manage their work time and ease our transition time in class -- less wasted time means more time learning.
Currently we do not have a class set of stopwatches and have to use our Chromebooks (which I do not want chemicals from the lab or water to damage them). These compact stopwatches will be a breeze for them to use.
