My Students

I teach 2nd grade in Weiser, Idaho. We are a rural agriculture area. We are in a high poverty area. Our school has a high number of students receiving free and reduced-price lunch. I enjoy teaching the 2nd grade as they are eager to learn lots of things. I would like to add to that opportunity for them by using Time For Kids in my classroom.

This will allow us to learn more in the social studies and science areas.

The community that we live in is only 5000 people so it is fun to learn about countries also that we might not be able to visit.

My second graders loved learning with TIME for Kids this past year.

My kids love learning about other countries as well. We visited Sweden, Cambodia, the Dominican Republic, Canada, Botswana, and Egypt. We are such a small community that it was fun to go to places we might not otherwise visit. Thanks you for your consideration.
