My Students

We have twenty very enthusiastic students who represent our school as the Tigerpride cheerleaders. The students range from five to twelve years old. The team cheer at all home games for basketball teams, This improves children self-esteem and mental health.

My Project

We welcome all students to participate regardless of income or ability. School spirit is exhibited through our students. Our cheerleaders are great positive influences on other students, staff, and our community. Students from kindergarten-fifth grade make up our team of Tiger pride. These students learn skills of a balance ball, rhythm, and keeping time. The students are often shy and timid but this team sport will build confidence after a few short practices. I have seen children blossom when getting to perform at local events. It is a real self-esteem builder that can make students embrace school in the early years. Younger students can imagine themselves as the future cheer players at school.
