My students need to learn how to be responsible in the classroom and clean up after themselves by using a little carpet sweeper to clean our carpet after projects and snack time.
I Teach 4K! These students are the youngest and most eager learners of our school! They enter my classroom with great anticipation each day, hoping to get a first-hand look at what our day has in store! They have an amazing zest for learning and for exploring new and innovative activities every day! This not only makes my heart smile but also drives me to keep on keeping on this crazy path called teaching.
I use a thematic approach to teaching my students and I create learning centers based on early childhood readiness skills.
My students learn primarily through play and hands-on activities. Our room is never quiet because I encourage the kids to use their language during their work and play.
My Project
My students are only four and five years old but they still can learn how to be responsible at this age. Each day they do projects in the classroom as well as have a daily snack. If we had a carpet sweeper to clean our carpet, the students would have the opportunity to be responsible and clean up after themselves...a lesson that if learned at a young age, would stay with them as they grew and matured as they go through each grade!
Big colored bins for storage would also give my little ones opportunities to sort and organize classroom toys where they belong making clean up time easier for them!
My job as a teacher goes way above teaching ABC's and 123's. I take it upon myself to also instill in these young children how to be caring, helpful and responsible little people. Your donations to this project would help me meet these important goals!
